"Soup's On" will be the name of my Seattle soup restaurant and is a heartfelt tribute to my grandmother, Irma, who would call us to the dinner table with that very phrase. It's a nod to a time when meals, especially during the tough times of her childhood, often meant a comforting bowl of soup. This tradition of gathering around the table for a warm meal inspired me to name my personal chef company "Soup's On Seattle."
At its core, "Soup's On" is about bringing people together over delicious, home-cooked soups. It's a call to gather, share, and enjoy good food. As I prepare to open "Soup's On," my soup restaurant, I'll be cooking my way through all of my recipes, offering a select number of pints each week. It's a way to share my culinary creations and keep the spirit of those family dinners alive in every bowl.
